Statue of Unity Packages from Ahmedabad
Hello, travelers! Are you ready to explore something iconic and inspiring? If you’re still waiting for the perfect destination, it’s time to pack your bags and head to one of India’s proudest landmarks — The Statue of Unity, the tallest statue in the world.
Located in Kevadia, Gujarat, this monument is a tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, India’s first Home Minister and the Iron Man of India. He played a crucial role in unifying 562 princely states to form the Republic of India.

About the Statue
Inaugurated on October 31, 2018, the Statue of Unity stands 182 meters tall, nestled between the Satpura and Vindhyachal hills, near the Narmada River and Sardar Sarovar Dam. It’s built on Sadhu Bet hill, connected to the mainland via a 300-meter bridge.

Interesting Fact:
To support the construction, farmers from across India donated over 5,000 tonnes of iron tools. Inside the statue, there’s a museum where you can explore Patel’s life and the statue’s creation.
